Caladium unknown

Origin of the plant in the photos: received from R. Mansell in spring of 1997

This plant does not look like any of the varieties that R. Mansell was sending out. If anyone has an idea what cultivar this is, please let me know. Not that it matters very much - El Nino '98 has destroyed it.

Perhaps it did not like its growing conditions (although all its companions did) and this is why it has turned this freakish color...
