Anthurium plowmanii

Origin of the plant in the photos: Dewey Fisk has been generously distributing the seeds of this species in early 1996.

The seeds were relatively easy to germinate (I had about 50% success), and after rather slow first year of growth, took off quite vigorously.

	This seedling is about 16 months old. It is growing in a 6-inch pot.
	Another seedling, 20 months old, shows the signs of speeding up - note the huge difference in leaf sizes. It is also growing in a 6 inch pot.
	At barely more than 2 years old, first inflorescences appeared.
