Geographic distribution: Hong Kong
This species does not like low humidity; its leaflets curl down, and it becomes visibly unhappy. Frequent misting brighs some improvement and/or prevents the unhappiness. Sometimes, its levaes are very glossy, as shown in another specimen.
Aphids love it (and can cause considerable stress), spider mites seem to avoid it.

Above, the same specimen one year later. It has been grown under low humidity conditions, and therefore looks somewhat unhappy. The specimen below, however, has enjoyed daily sprayings. |
