Alocasia wentii |

I received this one from Richard
Mansell.
It is possible that it is really Alocasia x sedenii.
Spider mites like it somewhat; aphids seem to prefer other species.

The leaves are dark green, with some gray tint. They are
not as dark as in these pictures (I'll fix the colors eventually once I
get my hands on the Photoshop).
The photo below shows the general habit of this plant.

Above, the purple undersides of the young leaves are distinctly different from the old leaves that are ready to wilt and die. To the side, another photo of the general habit of this plant.
