Alocasia chantrieri


This alocasia is sometimes available commercially - I found it at a regular florist shop. It started as a fairly small plant, but it must like heat and humidity - the largest leaf grew to about 20 inches long.

The leaf color of this one has less green than shows here - it is almost entirely gray.
The undersides of the leaves are burgundy.
