Arum hygrophilum

Next

I found this plant at a Chrismas sale at the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens.

General habit of growth.
About three weeks after acquisition, this arum has bloomed. The inflorescence had no discernible smell (unless I missed it somehow).
When I dissected the spathe, a couple of fungus gnats welcomed the unexpected freedom from the trapping whiskers.
The leaves are bright green. The cauduciform thing in the background is Zamioculcas zamiifolia.
